Important information about how we ship your order and what happens once your package is with the carrier.

Carrier Responsibility
Once your order is picked up by the shipping carrier, responsibility for the package transfers to the carrier. Tech Depot is not liable for any damage, loss, or delays that occur during transit. We strongly advise all customers to purchase shipping insurance to protect their orders.
Our Liability
- Tech Depot is not responsible for packages once they have been handed to the carrier
- We are not liable for damage caused by the carrier during transit
- We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages once in carrier custody
- Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon handoff to the shipping carrier
- Force majeure events, weather delays, and carrier disruptions are outside our control
Shipping Insurance
- We strongly advise all customers to purchase shipping insurance for their orders
- Shipping insurance protects against carrier damage, loss, and theft in transit
- Insurance can be arranged at checkout or by contacting our team before your order ships
- Claims for carrier damage or loss must be filed directly with the carrier
- Insurance coverage and claim procedures are governed by the carrier's terms
How We Pack Your Order
- All orders are carefully packed using protective materials to minimize damage risk
- Devices are individually wrapped and secured before shipping
- We use industry-standard packaging appropriate for electronics
- While we take every precaution, we cannot control carrier handling after pickup
Filing a Damage or Loss Claim
- If your package arrives visibly damaged, document it with photos before opening
- Report visible carrier damage to the delivery driver and refuse the shipment if heavily damaged
- File a claim directly with the carrier using your tracking number and shipment details
- Notify our team at hello@techdepot.co so we can assist where possible
- Carrier claim windows are typically 15–30 days — file promptly
